Info
Legacy is a professional polo team based in Dubai, UAE. The team required a complete visual identity for use in tournaments, merchandise and professional representation.I designed the full brand identity, with particular focus on jersey, kit, and merchandise design for both riders and horses. The goal was to avoid traditional polo aesthetics and instead create a modern, dynamic, and futuristic visual language. The identity reflects the team’s competitive vision and is actively used in real tournaments, making this a fully realized, client-facing project.

Identity & Guidelines
Legacy is a young and ambitious team, and the identity was designed to reflect that energy. In a sport dominated by traditional and classical branding, the goal was to create a bold, futuristic visual language that clearly set the team apart. The logo was developed with sharp forms and strong contrast, supported by a typographic system chosen to match its dynamic character.
Color played a key role in the identity. At the client’s request, red became the core brand color, carefully refined and matched across digital and print. The selected Pantone values were aligned with the red used in the UAE flag, creating a subtle regional connection while ensuring consistency across merchandise and production materials. All elements were documented in a brand guideline to support long-term, consistent use.

Kits, Merchandise & Real-World Use
The identity was extended into a complete kit and merchandise system designed for real competitive use. I created three player jerseys — home, away, and alternative — alongside staff kits, each built around custom patterns and design elements derived from the brand language. The system was further applied to caps, tents, rugs, horse saddles, and horse cloths, ensuring visual continuity across both riders and horses.
These designs are actively used in tournaments, bringing the identity into real environments where motion, distance, and durability matter. Seeing the brand perform in live competition confirmed the importance of designing not just for appearance, but for function, visibility, and presence on the field.
